Scottsdale, AZ-based outpatient medical imaging provider SimonMed Imaging has appointed Sean Raj, MD, as its new chief medical officer, in addition to his role as chief innovation officer.
Raj joined the firm in 2021. In his new position, he will oversee the company's clinical organization -- overseeing quality initiatives, clinical operations, protocol standardization, and physician engagement -- and will help to expand SimonMed Imaging's simonONE whole-body MRI screenings into new markets.
Raj earned his medical degree at New York University and continued his training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, and at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in New York.
