Del Global Technologies of Valhalla, NY, has received a contract for $12 million to supply power conversion components to a medical imaging OEM, the company reported today.
The components will be used in the design of a "next-generation" medical imaging system that will go into production next year. Del declined to name the customer ordering the components, other than to say that the firm is one of Del’s major customers.
Del provides components to imaging OEMs, in addition to selling its own finished x-ray and mammography systems.
