GE HealthCare announces new PACS integrations

GE HealthCare (GEHC) is highlighting new integrations with its True PACS and Centricity PACS platforms at the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) 2025 annual meeting in Portland, OR.

The integration of Pace and Balance into True PACS and Centricity PACS will enable intelligent workload management and orchestration for radiologists and radiology groups, according to GEHC. The functionality uses predictive analytics to help increase reading capacity, with the goal of improving radiology productivity and reducing burnout.

Pace and Balance ensure equal distribution of radiology cases, balance the workload against exam reading capacity, and promote fairness in case assignments, GEHC said.

Also at SIIM and continuing the momentum of the company's new suite of cloud-based enterprise imaging software-as-a-service (SaaS) tools, GEHC is showcasing its cloud-enabled Genesis portfolio and Datalogue vendor-neutral archive (VNA).

Together, Genesis, True PACS, and Centricity PACS integrated with Pace and Balance and Datalogue are designed to help hospitals and health systems improve workflow and productivity while supporting radiologists and caregivers in delivering precise and timely patient care, according to GEHC.

The company also noted that the Tribun Health CaloPix digital pathology platform has been integrated with GE HealthCare’s Enterprise Archive.
