Bruker lands large superconductor deals

MRI technology developer Bruker Energy & Supercon Technologies has received two multiyear contracts from MRI OEM vendors for its low-temperature superconductors (LTS).

The orders, which were from existing customers, have a total minimum order value of approximately $71 million through September 2014. Actual purchases may reach as much as 25% above minimum commitment levels, Bruker said.
