The Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) has named a new president of its technologist section.
Cybil Nielsen.
Cybil Nielsen is a nuclear medicine educator at Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts in Concord, CA. In her new role, she will expand SNMMI's educational programs, mentorship opportunities, and networking events, as well as advocating for the recognition and advancement of nuclear medicine technologists, the society said.
Nielsen earned her Bachelor of Health Science degree in nuclear medicine technology at the University of Louisville in Kentucky and her Master of Arts degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion.
