ACR names 2025 Hillman Fellows

The American College of Radiology (ACR) has awarded its 2025 Bruce J. Hillman Fellowship in Scholarly Publishing to Karen Buch, MD, and Hannah S. Milch, MD.

Buch, a neuroradiologist, serves as director of the Neuroradiology Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and as an associate professor of radiology at Harvard Medical School. She has authored or co-authored 74 peer-reviewed scientific papers, articles, or letters.

Milch is a breast radiologist and assistant clinical professor of radiological sciences at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She is the author or co-author of almost two dozen peer-reviewed scientific papers, articles, or letters.

According to the ACR, the fellowship offers staff radiologists or radiologists-in-training hands-on editing and publishing experience at the Journal of the American College of Radiology (JACR), the official journal of ACR. Named for Bruce J. Hillman, MD, founding editor in chief of JACR from 2004 to 2019, the fellowship program began in 2015.

In addition, the fellows will travel to New York City to spend time at JACR’s publisher, Elsevier.
