UltraCon: Ultrasound empowers patients with prosthetic limbs

Ultrasound is known for its versatility in medical imaging, but it can go far beyond just diagnosing patients with various diseases.

Gil Weinberg, PhD, founder of Georgia Tech's Center for Music Technology, spoke with AuntMinnie.com on ultrasound's role in empowering patients with prosthetic limbs. He outlined how the modality allows patients to control their limbs, additional applications in general populations, and the challenges of commercializing such technology.
