Proton therapy treatment center installer Proton International has inked a contract with Delray Medical Center of Delray Beach, FL, to build a one-room center that will serve patients in south Florida.
The room will feature Varian Medical Systems' ProBeam intensity-modulated proton therapy system, the company said.
Proton International currently has centers under construction at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI, and at University Medical Center in Groningen, the Netherlands.
