Whole-body MRI screening company Prenuvo is rolling out the Prenuvo Research Network, an initiative that pairs the company's AI tools and in-house research teams with academic collaborators to study preventive medicine.
The network draws on the Prenuvo Imaging Biobank, a collection of more than 200,000 whole-body MRI scans acquired with standardized protocols, according to the firm. Initial collaborators include researchers from more than 50 institutions, among them City of Hope, University of California, San Francisco, and Moffitt Cancer Center.
The network launches with four studies covering the following:
- Pulmonary and mediastinal findings in patient-driven whole-body MRI screening.
- Incidental brain findings in more than 78,000 individuals undergoing preventive whole-body MRI.
- Whole-body and brain changes associated with alcohol intake in adults without alcohol use disorder.
- Incidental renal findings across 117,826 whole-body MRI scans.
